PST to Require Protective Eyewear During Match Play

December 20, 2011 (Framingham, MA) - Pro Squash Tour announced today that it will, with immediate effect, require competing pros to wear protective eyewear in all tournament matches.
"We are making this change because it is the right decision, for the protection of our players and for the tour," said PST Commissioner Joseph McManus.
"This season Pro Squash Tour will host more tournaments in more U.S. cities than any other tour. We must now lead by example."
The tour will announce, in the near term, specifics on approved eyewear.
