Official Eye Protection of PST
Framingham, MA (January 9, 2012) - Pro Squash Tour (PST) announced today that its players will wear Black Knight Eye Protection in all tournament matches. PST announced in December that it would require its players to wear protective eyewear beginning in 2012.
Under the agreement with PST, Black Knight will become an Official Tour Sponsor.
PST Commissioner and CEO, Joseph McManus said he is pleased to be partnering with Black Knight. “PST is setting the lead by requiring our players wear protective eyewear in tournament matches, and it was important for us to find a quality partner. Black Knight has a high quality product line of protective eyewear for squash players. We are pleased to be working with them as a national tour partner.”
Bob Morgan, President, said, “We are excited about this new relationship with PST as we jointly work to grow the game and create an exciting and safe playing environment for all squash players.”
Under the agreement, Black Knight eye protection will be worn by players in all PST tournaments and events. Black Knight will be listed in all tour materials as the “Official Protective Eyewear of the PST” and be an “Official Tour Partner.” The agreement, which runs to the end of 2013 and may be extended to the end of 2014, includes collaboration on a variety of grassroots and cross-promotional and junior squash initiatives, all designed to help grow the game, particularly in the United States.

Based in Framingham, MA, the Pro Squash Tour was founded in 2009. The season begins in August and runs through May. The world’s best players compete on the Pro Squash Tour for points and prize money. In May, the Tour’s Top 8 players will be invited to the Detroit Athletic Club to compete for the Pro Squash Tour World Championship.
