Edwin now makes his home in Massachusetts. However, he is originally from South Africa where he represented his province in national competitions at the Jarvis Kaplan Cup.

He is a two-time winner of the the SAB (South African Breweries) Championships and is regarded as one of the biggest hitters on the tour.

He only plays with products by Prince Sports.
