Gustav Detter is the 2011 Swedish National Champion. He played his college squash at Trinity College, where he was a four time All-American. Gustav won the Skillman Award, which is presented to a college senior who displayed outstanding sportsmanship throughout his college career.
Q & A with Gustav:
You are the Swedish National Champion? Please tell us about winning that tournament.
I trained extremely hard for this event and to be able to win the tournament in front of family and friends meant the world to me. I owe so much to Bernardo Samper for helping me achieve this goal!
Where were you born?
Malmoe, Sweden
When did you start playing squash?
I started playing squash when I was 12 years old.
Did you ever play other sports at a high level?
I played tons of hockey before I picked up the squash racquet.
Why did you choose to play squash professionally?
Love to compete and play squash at a high-level.
Why did you choose PST?
PST enables me to get quality matches against top-notch players; most of the tournaments are on the weekends.

What do you think of Point Every Rally (no-let squash)?
I like it! The no-let-squash makes the game more fluid; the player and spectator enjoy it more.
