Lefika Ragontse from Botswana is a 10 time Botswana National Champion, 4 time All American, 4 time NCAA Champion, US under 25 Champion, Trinity College Team Captain, Botswana National Team Captain, Namibian Champion, and Zimbabwe Champion.
Lefika Ragontse has also had great success coaching serving as a Nike Squash Camp Director, Greenwich Academy Camp Director, US-Squash Camps founder and Director ( held at Trinity College) has coached and Juniors to 8 National Titles, Baltimore Country Club Head Squash Coach, Merritt Athletic clubs Squash Director managing ( 5 clubs). He has one of the strongest junior squash programs in the country.
The Bare Hills program has grown to more than 900 members in less that 4 years. Of that number 350 play squash on a regular basis.
Before coming to Baltimore there were no Junior National Champions. Now we have had four finalist and 8 Junior national champions, including: Katie Tutrone two time national champion, Caroline East National Champion, Charlie East National Champion. Taylor and Michael East have also won doubles National champions. David Snyder bronze national champion, Lindsey Wong bronze national champion.
The juniors he has coached have also gone to the top colleges in the country. Such as Stanford, Princeton, Yale, Dartmoth, Brown, Tufts, Amherts, and Cornell ( to name a few). Lefika is also playing, coaching and managing the Botswana team going to the Commonwealth Games.
