Phil Wilkins graduated from the world renown Wycliffe College in 2002, and later gained his degree in Sport Studies from the University of Manchester in 2005. Phil moved to the States from England the same year and started his US career at Vassar College in 2005 as the Assistant Professional Squash Coach. He is now the Head Professional at LiveTechnology in Tuxedo Park, NY and in Wayne, NJ. He holds an English Level 3 coaching qualification, as well as Level 3 US coaching certificate and has been coaching for 14 years. Prior to coaching, Phil played for Wales as a Junior International.

When did you start playing squash? When I was 12
Did you ever play other sports at a high level? Karate
Why did you choose to play squash professionally? The chance to travel the world, meet new people and new coltures. And whats more important than to enjoy the sport you love.
Why did you choose PST? The PST, makes the sport so much more accesable for local pros to play, and to continue playing squash at a high level
Age? Single/ married? 28, and single
What part of your game do you take the most pride in? My Movement and Timing
What part of your game are working to improve? My finishing of the ball
Who is your favorite opponent? N/A
Who is your least favorite opponent? My Brother
What do you think of Point Every Rally (no-let squash)? Great, elimanates cheats who fish for points, and encourages all to play the ball.
Do you smoke? Drink? Do you avoid certain foods? No smoking, A few cheeky ones here and there, I'll eat anything in front of me.
What do you eat for breakfast? Usually 4 Weetabix, and 4 pieces of toast
Greatest accomplishment on the court? Representing Wales
Thoughts on squash in America? Great energy and desire
Goal for a post-squash career? To continue coaching and promoting the sport around the country.
