Where were you born? Cairo, Egypt
When did you start playing squash? At age of 5, thanks to my dad for teaching me!
Did you ever play other sports at a high level? No
Why did you choose PST? Great chance to get good matches and play at a higher level
What part of your game do you take the most pride in? Not giving up
What part of your game are working to improve? There's always something to improve :)
Please tell me one or two of your favorite squash stories (on court or off). Round 3 in the World Junior Individuals Championships, had a very bad cold but stopped thinking about everything, just focused on my match and managed to win. It has always been close with my opponent on that day in previous tournaments so that was a great win
Who is your favorite opponent? Wee Wern
Who is your least favorite opponent? mmm tough question..
Do you smoke? Drink? Do you avoid certain foods? No. No. Junk Foods
What do you eat for breakfast? Oatmeal, fruits and yogurt
Greatest accomplishment on the court? Pioneer, German and Dutch Champion, world junior teams #1 and 5th individuals
Thoughts on squash in America? It's really improving and that's a great thing to see. More people are playing and loving the game
Goal for a post-squash career? Hard to imagine at the moment as I can't see myself retiring now, many goals looking forward to in the sport... But I'd like to have an Environmental Science career, and also to become a chef! I'm really into cooking and dreaming to have a healthy and environmental-friendly restaurant! :)
