Pakistan's 5-time National Champion Shahid Zaman Khan is headlining this year's Boston Open. Khan recently accepted the position of Head Teaching Pro at the Tennis and Racquet Club in Boston, where the semi-finals and championship matches will be held.

Khan will face stiff opposition on his way to the championship as he is seeded to face either Canadian great Ian Power or US Squash #1 rated player Daniel Sharplin.

Players from South Africa, Canada, Kenya, New Zealand and United States are registered for the tournament.

The Boston Open will be traveling across the city during the course of the tournament. The quarter finals will begin at Sports Club LA on Avery Street at noontime on Tuesday, Nov. 16. Later that evening, quarter final action will continue starting at 7:00 p.m. when Boston University's new fitness and recreation center welcomes the tour.

The Semi-finals and Championship night will be hosted by the historic Tennis and Racquet Club on Boylston Street. Match play will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the T & R.
