Points System for Player Rankings

 

PST Points System

Points are cumulative throughout the season (September – April).

Points will accumulate toward an end of season bonus for the Top 8 players.

 

Points Awarded per Tournament

Main Draw

  • 140 points awarded per win in the main draw.
  • 2 points awarded per rally won in a loss.

3rd Place Match

  • 70 points awarded per win
  • 1 point awarded per rally won in a loss

Qualifying Draw (2 round maximum)

  • 70 points awarded per win
  • 1 point awarded per rally won in a loss

Example:

Player A beats Player B in a 4 game main-draw match (11-9, 8-11, 11-6, 11-5).

Player A receives 140 points for the win and advances to the next round.

Player B receives 62 points (9 x 2 points + 11 x 2 points + 6 x 2 + 5 x 2 points = 62)
